Personalized therapy
with the whole of you in mind

Therapy for high-achieving professionals and parents who feel burned out, restless, disengaged, or disconnected

and are ready to feel ENERGIZED about their lives again.

Guiding professionals and parents from burnout to renewal so you can create a life with true vitality.

I work with midlife professionals who feel like they’ve lost the thread of their own story. Maybe you’re doing all the things—career, family, responsibilities—but inside you feel empty or overwhelmed. Together, we’ll explore those inner signals, and start realigning your life with what matters most to you now.

The roles you’ve played got you here. But they don’t have to define what comes next.

Does any of this sound familiar?

I know what it’s like to burn out, lose yourself, and rebuild.

Now I help others find clarity, purpose, and renewal too..

Hi, I’m Dr. Monika Sharma.

I’ve always been drawn to helping people feel seen, heard, and valued. My path led me into clinical psychology, then into founding a group practice in Chicago, and eventually into solo motherhood by choice. For years, I poured my energy into supporting clients, colleagues, and my daughter.

But life caught up with me. Between the pandemic, systemic challenges in mental health care, devastating loss, and burnout, I reached a breaking point. Closing my practice was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made—but it became the doorway to rediscovering myself.

Through rest, reflection, and rebuilding, I reconnected with my “why”: helping people find clarity, trust themselves, and realign with what matters most. Today, I work with midlife professionals, parents, and women navigating transition to reclaim their vitality and create a life that feels purposeful, authentic, and alive.

We’ll work at your pace using evidence-based, mind-body approaches that meet all parts of you with compassion. Therapy doesn’t have to be clinical or cold — it can be deeply caring, growth-promoting, personal, and energizing.

My Specialties:

After burning out myself, I learned how easy it is to lose yourself in your roles. I help professionals, parents, and single women reclaim the part of themselves that got buried along the way.
You’re not broken. You’re human. And you’re allowed to want more.

Burnout

Supporting high-achieving professionals and caregivers experiencing emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion — helping them set boundaries, reconnect with themselves, and heal from chronic overwhelm.

Midlife Transitions

Guiding clients through identity shifts, career changes, relationship challenges, and existential questions that often arise during midlife.

Entrepreneurs & Leaders

Helping business owners, visionaries, and self-starters manage internal pressure, isolation, imposter syndrome, and emotional fatigue while staying aligned with purpose.

Hypnosis

Sometimes talk therapy isn’t enough. Sometimes your body holds the story, even when your mind can’t explain it. That’s where clinical hypnosis can help.

Single Moms by Choice

What if, instead of pushing through, you found peace in the pause?

What if therapy didn’t feel like another task — but like a space that restores you?

What if you could move through your day with more ease, intention, and self-trust?

If you’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t work, I understand the frustration.

You might’ve felt unseen. Or like you had to earn your therapist’s trust instead of the other way around.

You might’ve been given strategies without ever being asked what truly matters to you.

Here, we start where you are — and go at a pace that feels safe.
You don’t have to perform to heal.

While I don’t share client testimonials for confidentiality, I often hear things like:

“This is the first time I’ve actually felt seen.”

“I didn’t expect therapy to feel this grounding.”

“It’s not easy work — but it’s finally the right work.”

If you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or exhausted — you don’t have to stay there. Therapy can help you come back to yourself.
